I'm testing the email option for this blog. Here's what's going on today in NFL rumors.
Plaxico Burress will meet with Tom Coughlin on Friday then Mike Tomlin on Saturday. It is looking like he will reunite with one of his former teams. The Mara family and the Rooney family are not known for putting up with crap so I can't understand why NY and Pittsburgh are even giving Plax a shot.
The Miami Dolphins are nearing a few trades. One will send Saints RB Reggie Bush to Miami and another will acquire QB Kyle Orton from the Broncos. The Phins getting Bush is good for us Giant fans because Miami put in a big bid to grab Giant's FA Ahmad Bradshaw.
It appears the the Eagles will be sending QB Kevin Kolb to play in the desert for the Cardinals.
The Seahawks have signed two big free agents in picking up RG Robert Gallery (Oakland) and WR Sidney Rice (Minnesota). The QB is still up in the air as they have Charlie Whitehurst competing with Tavaris Jackson for the starting role.
The quest for the best CB in the league continues and it seems to be a three city race right now. Nnamdi Asomugha is being sought by the 49ers, Texans and aggressively by the NY Jets. In NY he would pair up with the next best corner in the league Darelle Revis, and be playing for Rex Ryan who preaches defense first.

"The San Diego Chargers wanted to keep Eric Weddle, and they paid handsomely to do it.
Weddle has agreed to contract terms with the Chargers, according to the San Diego Union-Tribune. The deal makes Weddle the NFL’s highest-paid safety. The contract is worth $40 million over five years, with $19 million guaranteed."
I hope he proves that he is worth it.
