Moss hangs it up...

Problem WR Randy Moss has decided to retire after 13 years in the NFL. Personally, I won't miss him. He had a great situation in New England and ruined it. He joins Carson Palmer on the list of surprising retirements this year, although I don't believe that Carson will stay away.

Also, the Osi rumor was true!! Happens to the best of us, he is shopping for a trade, the Giants are looking for a 1st round pick for the 2x Pro Bowler who had 8 sacks and 10 FF last year.

Randy Moss = Total Enigma. Barry Bonds-level talent, Barry Bonds-level ego and attitude; even less desire to play hard, except occasionally.

What a waste.

It just proves to me more and more what a class act Jerry Rice was. In my lifetime (since 1980) Rice has been one of the greatest athletes, and he kept his mouth shut. Maybe these diva WR's like Moss, Owens and Ochocinco should not only play like their idol but act like him. Of course, Rice never had to deal with a less than spectacular Coach or Quarterback.

Albert Haynesworth is another one I don't get. He could be right up there with Sapp but he doesn't like to play that hard. If only I was given the talent to play a game...
